Old Northamptonians Girls U16’s Tour to Bristol - May 2026

We are just about recovered! Was a fantastic tour – Roger, the coach driver, was a legend, host club, what can we say, great bunch of people made us feel right at home – Mendip 7s was also great only gripe is they fixed the final so Winscombe could win but we wasn’t bothered it was great fun.

Great tour well organised – we would like to sort next years but a different location

Basingstoke 10’s to Weymouth - March 2026

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help arranging the tour for the U10’s. Everyone had an amazing time, the staff were brilliant and really accommodating. We were incredibly lucky with the weather too.

Club on Sunday were also fantastic hosts and the kids all got to play some great rugby.

We all really appreciate your help and advice with our first tour, and we look forward to doing it again in a couple of years – Caroline

Lewes 16’s to Bath April 2026

Thank you Nicola! We are heading home and have had a fantastic weekend!

Bath game on Friday night was an epic game to watch and the boys had a once in a lifetime experience taking the flag out onto the pitch ahead of the game!

The hostel was perfect for the weekend, despite the huge hill from town!

The boys just had a great game of rugby on Sunday winning 69-21. The club was very welcoming. Our driver, Jack has been great, huge thank you to him!

Sports Travel South West / you: Massive thank you to you for helping make our tour such a success! You put up with many many changes in numbers, food requirements etc. You responded efficiently to my endless questions and made the whole experience very straightforward!

Wanstead Under 13’s to Cardiff April 2026

We made it through the weekend and it was fantastic. Truly a great tour and one that the kids will remember.

Positives: Nicola Straight and her top notch organising skill set. Coaching with the Ospreys (amazing, the coaches were unreal and so friendly and accommodating). The Coach driver – Jordan was a great driver and such a good guy. Cardiff as a destination was a brilliant choice. Penallta RFC – Such good hosts, we got on so well. We had a great social after the game back at the club house and it was awesome of them to book the 4g pitch, You can recommend them again, the were spot on.

Negatives (but all OK): Penallta absolutely spanked us on the pitch. They were very good indeed, but I do think Welsh rugby has a much more progressive pathway at this level. I’m putting that in here under negatives as a bit of humour, they were a great club.

It was a shame to come home, although the kids did everything they could and more, they were knackedered. So just want to say thank you again, we will definitely use you next year.

Chinnor U15s Tour to Cornwall

Overall, the tour was excellent and the boys had a great time.

The YHA was an excellent option for the boys and a great standard. The activities that we found were received well, lunch venue was great.
Jules the driver was great, best one yet.

Teams were excellent, all of them. Well balanced, good spirits and coaches were good guys. Pasties for post-match tea, lovely.All round great tour, great to have you help us with this too Nicola.

Although the boys might not have another tour due to exams etc, I think Claire and I now move over to U13s Tour committee next year, so you haven’t got rid of us yet!

Weybridge Vandals tour to Devon – April 2026

We had a blast.

Accommodation – whilst the rooms were simple we didn’t need much more in the way of luxury. The choice of activities was huge and the staff who helped run the organised sessions (water polo and shooting) were very engaging and struck the right balance between giving the boys a good experience and keeping things safe! There was so much to choose from and it was so nice to be able to switch off as adults for large parts of the tour. The food was plentiful and tasty, the bar choice was excellent. A few parents tried other activities, said it was first class.

Host club – struck me as a proper rugby club. Great facilities, good pitch and a very welcoming bunch of supporters.

General overall experience – I don’t think we could have been happier. Thank you very much for all your help and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the venue or your company. You have been wonderful to work with and fully met the brief for our tour.

Gowerton Tour to France - Easter 2026

The whole weekend was a fantastic success. The coach driver John was a true gent. Nothing was too much trouble and he did everything he could to make the trip as memorable as possible. He even managed to get us on an earlier ferry on our way home (10am). I’ve been on many rugby trips and tours and he was up there with the very best.

Our IBIS Hotel was also a winner. It was ideally located in Lille, clean and tidy and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfasts were of good quality with plenty of selection.

Our hosts Maubeuge were quite weak but did give us a warm welcome. We spent a couple of hours at their club after the game and enjoyed their hospitality. We toured with 42 adults and kids and everyone was extremely complimentary about the whole experience.

I’d like to say a big thank you to you and your company for delivering a first class experience. From when I started our dialogue you have been efficient and easy to deal with which resulted in a foreign tour that couldn’t have run any smoother.

I will certainly recommend your company to others within our club and hopefully I’ll be in touch in a few months for a tour in 2027.

Bracknell U15s Tour to Bristol

Wow what a great weekend!

To the game on Friday nights at Swindon to the game at the Rec, and then game on Sunday at Clifton, everything was just brilliant
Hotel was a great location, and really friendly staff and couldn’t do more for us. Boys loved having the swimming pool and said the breakfast was superb.

It was a great day in Bath and having more time to explore was one thing everyone loved having too.

Coach driver Carlos was just so cool, calm and always a pleasure and a real credit to the coach company, he was always on time, never an issue on anything and just a great person to have on our tour.

Thanks again for such a wonderful organised tour, and the boys all came back having made so many memories, and the ones we will treasure for so many years.

Your help, support, patience and just being always on hand to help with things just makes us come back year after year.

Westcombe Park tour to Northampton – April 2026

The weekend was amazing yet again, so thank you for that. Hotel was extremely comfortable, bathrooms and beds.

The hosting club were amazing. Damian is such a lovely man coming to meet us on Saturday and presenting us with a plaque and tie on Sunday. Parents commented on what a fantastic host he was. Dean was a great driver was happy to communicate via messages throughout the weekend and got us there and back in good time.

Thank you to you Nicola also organising and helping with our itinerary. There is already talk of next year’s tour potentially being in Europe.

Old Cryptians under 11’s tour to Devon April 2026

Thank you for everything you did to arrange the tour for us – I have had so many positive comments from parents.

The hotel was brilliant, great value and so many activities that we could all do together and space for the kids to have some freedom as well. It was a lovely touch that the hotel reserved seating for us for every meal. The person who hosted us for most of our activities was brilliant with the whole group – and got everyone involved.

The host club was really welcoming and the game schedule well organised. The team loved having their own changing room! We didn’t win but it was a nice way to finish their season.

NHSOB tour to Devon – March 2026

The boys and parents had a great time on tour. Both clubs we played were welcoming and we had 2 great games (and won both!)

Accommodation was good, food was brilliant, great selection for everyone no one could complain there wasn’t something they didn’t like. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We had our own allocated room for food which was great that we didn’t disturb anyone else!

Overall, it was a very successful tour. Thank you for all your support and organising everything your end. Other than the little stress just before we went away with the WRU and RU permissions it was smooth.

Chepstow's U15s Tour to Bournemouth

Thank you for organising such a great tour to Bournemouth. Both clubs were very welcoming hosts, and there was some excellent rugby played throughout the trip. The Hampton by Hilton was a fantastic hotel — the rooms, beds, and breakfast were all of a very high standard, and the location was excellent too. It was also just a short walk to the restaurant, which the whole team enjoyed and offered great value for money. The coach was clean and comfortable.

Many thanks again. I look forward to seeing what you can offer us for Easter next year, with the boys already talking about Belgium if possible.

Penryn U14s to Bath/Bristol - March 2026

Just wanted to say we had a great tour overall.

The coach driver was excellent—really friendly, helpful, and very patient putting up with our singing throughout! The bus itself was nice; it was a bit tight with every seat filled, but absolutely manageable for the journey.

The Friday match was brilliant and a really strong start to the weekend. The hotel was lovely, very central, with good food, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms, which all worked really well for us. Saturday’s activities were great and kept everyone engaged.
Sunday’s match was very well organised—the host club were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We really appreciated all your advice and support in organising the tour—it made a big difference. We’d definitely look to do something like this again and have already started talking about next year!

Grevesend U12s & U14s Girls, U13s Boys to Devon - May 2026

We recently used Sports Travel South West to organise a tour for our U12 & U14 girls teams and U13 boys rugby team, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

From start to finish, Nicola made the whole process completely stress-free. She recommended an amazing activities hotel for us, which absolutely didn’t disappoint, there was something for everyone and it made for a truly action-packed weekend.

Not only that, but Nicola also arranged fixtures with local rugby teams who were incredibly welcoming, creating a fantastic experience for all our players both on and off the pitch.

Everything was so well organised, allowing coaches and parents to actually enjoy the tour without worrying about the logistics. We’re so grateful for all the hard work that went into making it such a memorable trip. We can’t recommend Sports Travel South West enough and will definitely be using them again in the future!
